About
Iām Juliana, a UX designer based in Barcelona with a background in psychology and cognitive science from UCLA.
My work is driven by curiosity about how people think, feel, and make decisions. During my studies, I explored cognitive development and the ways our minds learn and adapt to new information. That foundation continues to guide how I approach design today, as an ongoing process of understanding human behavior and creating intuitive solutions around it.
I see design as more than aesthetics or functionality. It is a way to bridge science and creativity, to translate psychological insights into experiences that feel natural, reduce friction, and help people connect more easily with technology and with each other.
When I am not designing, you can usually find me exploring new cities, collecting small moments of inspiration, writing, doing yoga, reading, or journaling.
